After a rousing four part story of Owain Glyndwr’s life and victories, we enjoyed tasting Welsh cheeses (from UK Gourmet in Newtown, CT: ukgourmet.us): Snowdonia Cheeses’ Green Thunder, Little Black Bomber, Harlech, Red Storm, and Amber Mist as well as Caerphilly Cheese.

Along with these wonderful Welsh cheeses we tasted 6 wines from Stonington Vineyards, four whites, a rosé and a red.

We flew Owain Glyndwr’s flag and enjoyed meeting new friends and new members too!
