On Sunday, March 9, 2025 we had our Fourth Annual St. David’s Day Walk in Elizabeth Park, West Hartford, CT - to remember his famous guiding words: Gwnewch y pethau bychain/Do the little things.
Seven of us gathered at the parking lot near the greenhouses at Elizabeth Park, West Hartford, CT at 1:00 PM.
Bright sunshine was there to warm us on a brisk late winter day. We were joined there on our walk by a woman from Ukraine with a fondness for Wales.
After the walk, we visited the greenhouse to enjoy the annual daffodil and tulip show.
The jaunt ended with walkers tailgating behind Margaret Korhonen’s car where she poured out hot cider and passed out cookies.
