On Thursday, February 16, 2023, a special ZOOM event titled "The Hidden History”.
Invited by WalesWeek/NewEngland, Heddwch Nain Mam-Gu USA, supported by Cymru a'r Byd (Wales International), hosted this Zoom presentation .
It told the story of how 390,000 signatures were collected by Welsh Women and given to American Women in a Peace Petition following the horrors of WW1.
How did they do that? What happens next?

Ann Griffith
Presenter Ann Griffith is a native Welsh speaker raised in Aberystwyth. She is the VP of the Washington DC St. David’s Society and on the Board of Wales International/Cymru Am Byd and was the Wales International President at the Eisteddfod in 2022. Ann has been involved with Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu for over 3 years, and has family connections to the 100 year old petition. She is excited to be working on this peace project that has already started developing links between Cymru and the USA.
Susan Davies Sit
Presenter Susan Davies Sit, was born in Colwyn Bay, north Wales, now living in CT and is a Welsh learner. She was in the hospitality business in Wales, Greece and the Middle East. She is President of the Welsh Society of Western New England and a member of Heddwch Nain Mam-gu working on publicity and research.
