What a great way to spend 90 minutes on a winter Saturday afternoon, in the comfort of our own homes… tasting 4 Penderyn whiskies and being guided and educated by Impex rep Joshua Hatton. The four (generous) miniatures of Penderyn were: Legend, Sherrywood, Rich Oak and Myst which, at my son's house, we had with some Welsh Red Storm Snowdonia cheese, crackers, almonds and apple slices.
Twenty one happy people were on this Zoom event, of all ages and whisky experiences. Joshua did a fabulous job with the history of Penderyn whisky, its future and its place in the list of winners at whisky competitions.
And no, that’s not a spelling mistake in the heading, it’s Irish WHISKEY but Scottish and Welsh WHISKY.
